As the world grapples with the escalating impacts of climate change, the need for sustainable practices has never been more urgent. Extreme weather events, rising sea levels, and biodiversity loss are just some of the consequences we face. Amidst these global challenges, Hari Krishna Exports (HK) has emerged as a symbol of hope, demonstrating that even in the competitive world of diamond manufacturing, conserving the environment and nurturing can be a cornerstone of success.

Once again, our commitment to sustainability has been recognised on the international stage. We have recently been awarded a Jury’s Special Recognition by the prestigious Jewellery World Awards for Environmental Stewardship. This recognition reflects our dedication to preserving the planet and making a positive impact on communities around the world.

At the heart of our work are two ambitious sustainability initiatives: Mission River and Mission 102030. These initiatives are not just aspirational; they are actively pursued and achieved. To date, we have collectively planted over 3.2 million trees and conserved over 30 billion litres of water and counting.

Our efforts extend beyond water conservation and tree planting. We have also rejuvenated rivers, created lakes, and fostered a culture of sustainability within its organisation. Through initiatives like the Jal Utsav, a water festival aimed at raising awareness about water conservation, we urged thousands of others to join the cause.

One of the most benchmarked aspects of our environmental work is our focus on community engagement. We have transformed barren lands into green spaces, providing benefits for both the environment and local communities. By involving employees and customers in tree-planting activities, we are fostering a sense of ownership and responsibility for the planet.

As the world continues to face the challenges of climate change, we set an example and a powerful reminder that sustainability is not just a trend; it is a necessity. By taking bold steps to protect the environment and empower communities, HK is demonstrating that it is possible to be a successful business while also making a positive impact on the planet.

A momentous occasion: Savjibhai Dholakia is conferred an honorary doctorate by the Honorable Governor of Maharashtra at PIMS's 18th Convocation Ceremony.

While the second-generation leaders were receiving such special recognition at JWA, Hong Kong, the founder and chairman of Hari Krishna Exports was also celebrated, and an honorary doctorate of science was received for his noble contribution to environmental conservation. The Honourable Governor of Maharashtra, Shri C. P. Radhakrishnan, awarded the honour at the 18th convocation ceremony of PIMS Deemed University in Shirdi. “This honour is a reminder that success is not measured by personal gain but by the prosperity it brings to society. The lakes we have built will continue to breathe life into our villages,”  Savjibhai Dholakia said.
