The Crater of Diamonds State Park yields up to a few hundred carats of diamonds each year, most of them being colored diamonds.

However, some of the famous diamonds found in this mine have gemological significance, such as Uncle Sam Diamond, Strawn-Wagner Diamond, Kahn Canary Diamond.

The aforementioned lack of domestic diamond production leaves no option behind for the US but to import diamonds from different countries to meet the country’s natural diamond demand.
